Exploring Trauma vs. Autism

The Rev. Dr. Stephanie C. Holmes authored a book with the cooperation of her family. That book is "Embracing the Autism Spectrum: Finding Hope and Joy Navigating the Neurodiverse Family Journey. She and I met at a conference in 2022, and I was invited to be a guest on her podcast to discuss the similarities between Trauma and Autism in younger children. Attached is a link to the podcast discussing Trauma and Autism. The question arose due to requests for testing for children who are part of our local Department of Children and Families services. What we were seeing in 99% of those children was trauma, not autism. Listen in and see what you think!
